Page 210 of History of Clermont County, Ohio 1980: "...and a son, Benjamin Franklin, b. 1838, d. 1918, married in 1861 Harriet Canter; one daughter Clemma, born 1864 and his wife died. As a second wife he, in 1870, married her cousin, Sarah Minerva Canter, b. 1845, d. 1912. She was the daughter of William and Mary McChesney Canter near Wiggonsville, Ohio, Tate Twp. They lived on a part of his father's farm on Trees Road. all members of Stpehen's family continued to live in Tate ans Washington Township areas. Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Minerva's children were as follows: (1) Emery S., born 1871, died 1951, married Retta Winder of Wiggonsville, Ohio, reared five children: Mary, Olive, Sara, Russell, and Raymond. (2) John, born 1879, d. 1963, married Frances Winters of Mt. Olive, Ohio, in Tate Twp. Of their family, three children survived: Lewis Robert, Anna Laura and Benjamin Willard. All lived in Franklin Township near Felicity, Ohio. John was a farmer and carpenter at Mt. Olive, Ohio. (3) William, born 1876, d. 1930 age 54, married Agnes Spritz near Batavia, Ohio, lived in Norwood, Ohio, Hamilton Co. where he was a machinist. His widow lives in Denton, Maryland and at this time is 98 years old. One son, Max B., died in 1973 in Maryland. He was a retired electronics supervisor for the Bulova Watch Co. in New York City. (4) Darwin, born 1882, died 1918, married Nida Fee of near Salt Air, Ohio, Tate Twp.: sons, Fee and Joseph, one daughter, Ethel. (5) Olive, born 1872, died 1896 age 24 of consumption. (6) Vera M., born 1886, died 1933 age 46, married William Alva Simon, b. 1883, d. 1968, lived at Pt. Isabel, Ohio, Washington Twp., where they reared five children, namely: William Gaylord, Norma Jean, Virgie, Lucy and Sylvia.

John was a farmer and carpenter. Fannie was a housewife. John and Fannie once lived in the Old "Uncle" Wesley Winters home which has been in the Winters family since it was built in 1803. It was here that all their children were born and they took into their home Goldie and Sylvia Trump who were the nieces of Fannie. The girls were eleven at the time losing their father Lewis M. Trump in 1910 and their mother Carrie Trump (Winters) in 1914. Sometime around 1940 John built a new house on ten acres of land located on Goodwin Schoolhouse Road near Pt. Isabel, Ohio. They lived here until they retired from farming moving to a house on Miner Street in Felicity, Ohio. -C.M. Woodruff

Page 248 of History of Clermont County, Ohio 1980: "Laura Smith, b. 1847, d. 1916, married Lewis Franklin Winters 8 February 1868 and had three children: Carey, Carrie and Fannie Winters. Carey died at an early age. Carrie married Lewis Trump and had twin girls, Goldie and Sylvia, and a son, Milton Trump. Fannie married John Parrish and had three children: Robert, Willard and Anna Laura Parrish.

Page 210 of History of Clermont County, Ohio 1980: "Lewis robert Parrish, Sr., oldest son of John Asman Parrish and Frances Pearl (Winters) Parrish, was born May 3, 1908 at Mt. Olive, Ohio in Tate Township. He attended grade school at the Mt. Olive schoolhouse. In 1931, Lewis Robert married Eva Marie Trees, daughter of Roy and Daisy Trees of Pt. Isabel, Ohio. After marrying they lived with Eva's father on Breckenridge Road (now Laurel Pt. Isabel Road). Lewis Robert worked for the Ohio Department of Highways. He also owned a truck and hauled coal from Ireton, Ohio. Lewis and Eva had two children. Lewis Robert Parrish, Jr. was born December 20, 1931 and joan Marie Parrish was born January 17, 1935. In 1941 Lewis Sr., his wife, Eva, and two children moved into a farm house owned by Lewis Sr.'s father John A. Parrish. they rented the farm until 1944 when they bought the farm from John A. Parrish. The farm consisted of a large farmhouse, a barn and numerous out buildings all on 100 acres of land. This farm can still today be found on Goodwin School House Road in Franklin Township. On this farm Lewis Sr. and Eva raised their two children and farmed the land. Lewis Robert Parrish, Sr. died June 15, 1968 of heart failure and is buried at Pt. Isabel, Ohio in Washington Township. The following are the descendants of Lewis Robert Parrish, Sr. and Eva Marie (Trees) Parrish. (1) Lewis robert Parrish, Jr., b. 12-20-31, Mt. Olive, Ohio, married Nancy Rae Hall and now resides near Bethel, Ohio on Goodwin Schoolhouse Road. They have four children and one grandchild. a. Sharon Anne, born Nov. 22, 1953, married Ralph F. Houser and resides in Felicity, Ohio. They have one child, Meghan Renee Houser, born Feb. 28, 1978 b. Timothy Mark, born March 5, 1957, at home. c. Jennifer Beth, born Oct. 7, 1964, at home. d. Amy Rebecca, born July 19, 1972, at home. (2) Joan Marie Parrish, b. 1-17-35, Pt. Isabel, Ohio, married Alfred R. Moyer and now resides at Felicity, Ohio. They have two children and one grandchild. a. Debra Rae, born October 1956, married James Lee Davidson and resides at Felicity, Ohio. They have one child, Joshua James Davidson, born Nov. 28, 1979. b. Rhonda Kaye, born September 1964 at home.
